The Guardian and Observer Christmas 2010 charity appeal - DEADLINE IMMINENT

The Guardian / Observer Christmas Appeal 2010 is looking for 10 projects that are making a big impact on the lives of disadvantaged teenagers and young adults.

The project's focus may be on young people excluded from education, or unable to get a job or training, rehabilitating young offenders, or supporting survivors of abuse, young carers, care leavers, runaways, or refugees. It could be increasing opportunities for disabled youngsters; tackling issues around mental illness or substance abuse; or teaching literacy, life skills, and resilience.

They are looking for charities working solely with young people aged 13 - 24, and projects that clearly demonstrate what a difference they make, and that they are innovative and effective.
