O2 - THINK BIG

Think Big is for people aged 13 to 25 years old in the UK. It’s to help make things better in the local community. The project should be up and running within three months of being accepted. To begin with you can apply for £300 and one day of training. It is not just about the funding, so do have a think about how the training will help tooApplications are made on line.

If you get invited to take your project further you could get

  • Up to £2500 cash for your project (given in stages)
  • Free O2 broadband for a year
  • £50 phone credit
  • A laptop for your project group
  • Support from O2 helpers
  • The chance to win gig tickets and merchandise for the project group
  • The opportunity to apply for an O2 apprenticeship

What you get once you’re in the programme

  • £300 cash for your project
  • Training and support
  • £30 mobile credit to share around your project group
  • A Think Big merchandise pack
  • Communications tools
  • Support from the team of O2 helpers

Only if you have completed your £300 project and things are going really well might you get invited to Think Bigger and apply for more.

The website has got some good examples of the sorts of projects they fund, and is inspirational. So if you know of a young person with ideas that could benefit, point them in the direction of this scheme.
