Community organisations and Third (voluntary) Sector groups are invited to bid for Community Led Funding, for projects greater than £1,000 but less than £30,000. The deadline for applications is Friday, 4th March 2011.
The LEQ Improvement Projects Grant Scheme will from April 2011 come under the Tidy Towns banner.
Eligible projects may include:
- clean-ups;
- improving neglected spaces;
- developing community gardens and allotments;
- installation of prevention measures;
- access improvements;
- control of invasive species;
- biodiversity and habitat projects; and
- awareness campaigns.
Applications under £1000
Applications under £1,000 should be directed to Keep Wales Tidy who operate a small grants scheme.
