Wales in Edinburgh Grant Scheme

The Wales in Edinburgh funding scheme provides support for Wales-based performing arts companies to produce and present their work at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the world’s largest arts festival. For Wales’ performing arts companies it represents an opportunity to present their work internationally.
The Festival is attended by audiences, programmers, promoters and producers from across the UK and the world. The Arts Council of Wales believes that its performing arts companies should be given the chance to shine in such a global context. From an artistic perspective, the Festival allows us to show some of Wales’ best work to the world.
Grants of up to £12,000 are available. Grants will cover up to 75% of total eligible project cost; therefore the applicant must contribute at least 25% of the necessary costs from alternative sources
The Arts Council of Wales envisages making approximately ten grant awards.
Performing arts companies that are based in Wales are eligible to apply.
The deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm on Friday 10 January 2014.
