Dignity in Care Programme in Wales - Open Call for Small Grants

The Welsh Assembly Government has set aside £150,000 in 2010 – 2011 for the Dignity in Care programme. From this budget, small bids of up to £5,000 are invited, excluding VAT. Bids must demonstrate that they promote dignity in care in health and social care services. Projects reflecting the full diversity of the population of older people, such as specific subgroups are welcome.

1. Summary of the bid e.g. setting, context, background

The Panel will consider merits such as relevance to dignity in care in Wales, rational of the bid and need for the bid

2. Specific details including timeframe and practicalities

The Panel will consider whether this bid is Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timely

3. Detailed breakdown of the costs requested in the bid

The Panel will consider value for money and other funding sources, like match funding that may be available

4. Potential outcomes e.g. impact of bid & integration

The Panel will consider the potential of lasting change, outcomes and practice development
