Stanley Bligh Memorial Fund

This fund aims to provide assistance to individuals or groups pursuing studies or activities in technical and vocational subjects in the arts or sciences (with a particular emphasis on forestry and agriculture).

Eligibility

The Fund supports individuals and community/voluntary organisations based in Powys with precedence given to residents of Brecknockshire and who have attended a Brecknockshire School.

Grants

Grants are available to fund 50% of costs up to a maximum of £500 for individuals and £1500 for groups.

Examples of previous costs supported include:

· course fees

· purchasing equipment

· educational materials e.g. books

· travel (where it includes a substantial educational benefit to the individual/group and/or community)

· running costs of a specific project
