DEBBIE AND ANDREW’S MICRO SPONSORSHIP AWARDS

Debbie & Andrew’s Sausage Company, established in 1999, now wishes to invest back into rural communities by providing micro-sponsorship grants to support local and grass roots fundraisers across the UK.

Grants up to £1,000 are available for projects that support projects promoting rural values, the countryside and community life by supporting fundraising activities for good causes.
Preference will be given to applications under £500.
In addition, up to £50 worth of Debbie & Andrew’s sausages and meatballs are available per application for fundraising or for profile-raising meals!
Applications are accepted from any not-for-profit fundraiser who is raising money for locally situated good causes which embody county-inspired activities, skills, craft, values or ideas. This includes projects which:
o Would not normally be funded by other means; or
o Require seed funding to attract match funding.
Examples of eligible projects include fundraising activities to raise money for:
o Local team kits;
o Refurbishing a sports pavilion;
o Maintaining a local park or landmark;
o Setting up a gardening club;
o Buying school equipment;
o Building an animal sanctuary;
o Launching community cooking courses;
o Repainting a church hall;
o Promoting a village fete;
o Holding a street party;
o Staging a music concert or an arts festival; or
o Creating a local support network.
The following are not eligible for funding:
o For-profit organisations; or
o Employees of companies related to the Debbie & Andrew’s brand or media partners.
Applications will be accepted at any time and are assessed on a monthly basis.
Applications must demonstrate clarity or purpose and vision and describe:
o What the fundraising is for and how it involves local communities;
o How the seed money will be used to assist the process of fund raising;
o Who is involved in the fundraising (i.e. those with key responsibilities);
o Deadlines for key activities; and
o How the project is to be managed (any plans, schedules and budget projections).
Eligible projects are required to commence within a year of funding being awarded.
Guidance notes and an application form (scroll down to the foot of the page) can be downloaded from the Debbie & Andrew’s website.
